Downtown Access

Kensington is a 10 minute walk to the CORE downtown, a 5 minute bike ride, or just two C-Train stops away. The City of Calgary has designated Kensington as a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area, emphasizing the walkability and mixed-use facilities in the development of the area. The redevelopment plan aims to make this community even more pedestrian friendly by reducing automobile dependency, increasing public transit usage, and increasing the number of people commuting by foot and bike.
